My Top 10 favorite Fearless(Taylor’s Version) Songs
I got to know Taylor’s music at the age of 14 and the very first song I listened was “Blankspace”. I really fell in love with the tune at that time, and I listened to it on repeat. Later I got to know many other songs, and started listening to them. And the song, “Fearless”, makes me recollect my nostalgic feelings that I had in the summer break of 2015.Even though I wasn’t lyrically connected to it, something about that music made my endorphins stable.Then after I got to know that she was a song writer too and as I grew older, I started to acknowledge her lyrics and appreciated the fact that how beautifully she tells emotions through song.
And recently, my girl, Tswift released “Fearless(Taylor’s Version)” , driving the Swiftie’s world crazy.And I am going to list out the top 10 songs that I like and why I like them of this legendary brand new album.So let’s hop right in.
10. Fifteen
Okay, at 15, basically I was child than a teenager (lol) and my huge insecurity at that time was not being recognized.For example, I felt that teachers weren’t appreciating me enough and my friends didn’t think that I was cool enough and those kind of things. And another insecurity was my social skills. I can proudly say that I didn’t have any crush(or at least a serious crush like if he talks with another girl, I’ll get sad,etc) on anybody. But still this song connects my emotions at fifteen. I only had three friends and literally it was very awkward whenever I had to hangout with the other girls other than my friends. And with them, I really felt this line, “Laughing at the other girls who think they’re so cool, we’ll be out of here as soon as we can”. And yes, 15 is the the time, when time begins and literally you have no clue whom you are going to be.But hey, believe me, you are going to do things greater than just dating a boy on the football team.
9.Forever and Always
First of all, what can you possibly do when someone you like doesn’t like you back the way you do.You can’t possibly force that person to stay in your life.And feelings, they never ask your permission to reside in you.And hence you fall in this contradictory situation, where you want him badly but can’t possibly have him.May be you can make this emotion as a song or a poem.And that’s what I can possibly do.Because if we think all along, it was never that person, it was our feeling of that person.And Taylor Swift wrote how about she felt about that heart breaking situation and sang a beautiful song which emphasizes her emotions.Basically she preserved “her” feelings at that time, at that age, of that person.Of course, you’ll grow up and trust me, things will change for better.
8.White Horse
Literally, I have been in love with this song like forever.This song is a beautiful fairy tale. There’s a girl with dreams but then things don’t seem to go well as she thought it would and she decides to give it a break.She sings a solitary melancholy melody. But then she knows that fact that great things await her.And her white horse will always stay with her and gets her to right destinations.
7.You are not Sorry
My god, this song is literally a bop.It’s a heartbreak and at the same time, I’ll be fine.The way she tells, “I am better off alone and you don’t have to stay is simply savage”. In this song, she is not angry and yelling at him but calmly telling him that he hurt her and she’ll become better soon.
6.Breathe
The irony is that this song made me breathe better than before.Emotions are just like breathing, except for the fact that breathing is necessary and good but emotions(bad ones good ones are no harm) aren’t necessary and not quite good as well.But some emotions make us feel like choking(figuratively) but we got to.And also heartbreaks in life are common and we got to move on.And them, they didn’t intensively hurt us because “People are people” and situations are situations.And so, we got o keep moving on, even though we feel stuck.
5.Love Story
Yo swifties out there, I am pretty aware you all love this song to infinity and beyond, let’s admit who doesn’t.This song is literally a fairy tale.“The perfect guy” kind of song and this song illustrates positivity and love.And this song literally makes everyone feel like they have a princess or a prince in their life and makes us all dance in our own paradise.For a moment, we all forget that we are single when this song is on. Lol….
4.Fearless
There’s something ‘bout this song, that gives me nostalgic vibes of my summer time when I was 15.(Was kind of singing this line)That tune and that song literally reminds 15 year old me. And every time I listen, I am back t0 2015 somehow.Next closest thing to time travel.
3.Mr.Perfectly Fine
This is one of the two ultimate brand new songs of Fearless.Just love the way she mocks her exes and its rhythm is on a whole new level.The way she personifies the attitudes and emotions, and how she describes each situation is damn lit.This song is damn perfectly fine.
2.Change
I personally feel like this is one of the most underrated songs.This song is a true master piece.Whenever I felt low, I always listen to this song and it did turn me up.Literally this song gives me hope and encourages me to do better and tells me that unfair things happen in life but we are way more worthier than that.When I sad, I turn this on, and then could relate the first verse and as it reaches chorus I feel better,hopeful and positive.Because, my dear Amigos, “these things will change” and “the walls that they put up to hold us back will fall down”. So keep feeling “dattebayo”…..
1.You Belong With Me
I love this song.I really don’t know where to start though.This song is also kind of like a fairy tale(just my opinion). It’s like between two girls, where one is popular and insensitive and the other one is compassionate and ordinary.By ordinary, I only meant not popular among other kids.And in this, she kind of describes that compassionate is more stronger and beautiful than being rich and popular.And also kind of describes how a quite girl feels about a popular girl even though she is more deserving and much capable too.
Special Mention: The Best Day
“The Best Day” is one of my most favorite songs.Yes, all of my “best days” revolve around my mom.Tswift wrote this song for her mom and it is one of the most sweetest songs in her whole career.This song displays a mom’s character very well, for example, when we are scared we have our mom by our side(she is the bravest woman in our life) , they are with us in our dark times and in our happy days , they stay back and watch us shine.They are always there for us no matter what the situation is.Yes, she is the prettiest lady in the whole wide world and of course our dad is lucky.She is the reason why the world is a better place.
It was literally very hard for me to chose these 10 songs and kind of arrange them in a order because I love all of them.Really, each and every song from this album is damn good.I could keep listening to them all day.And if you have come this far, congratulations(coz you are one of the few) and thank you very much , my amigo.Take a breathe and now, go on and keep being productive and happy.
